    Our world are full with colors.  We may not notice that colors has many important physical and psychological roles on out lives and health. Color intuitive shares how red, blue, and green affects your brain and body in different ways. Although, the way a certain color affect someone’s mentality is very individual and one color can have different effects on different people. Try these colors to see how they affect you:

    • Red is a bold color that commands attention! Red gives the impression of seriousness and dignity, represents heat, fire and rage, it is known to escalate the body’s metabolism. Red can also signify passion and love. It’s also promotes excitement and action, and danger, which is why it’s used on stop signs. Using too much red should be done with caution because if there is too much red around us, we may feel irritated, impatient and uncomfortable.
    • Pink is emotionally soothing and calming. Pink evokes femininity, softness, health and innocence. It gives a feeling of gentle warmth and nurturing. Because it’s so “feminine,” use of pinks should be well planned. Pink and blue color combos are most associated with babies, soaps and detergents.
    • Orange is a joyful color. It evokes fun, cheeriness and warm exuberance. It helps to release emotions and relieves feelings of self-pity and lack of self-worth. It stimulates the mind to find interest in life and simply lifts the spirits. It is also believed to increase craving for food.
    • Yellow is also a cheerful and uplifting color. It symbolizes wisdom and means joy and happiness. Pure, bright and sunny yellow is the easiest color to see. People who are blind to other colors can usually still see yellow. Yellow is full of creative and intellectual energy, therefore it helps to memorize and recall, think clearly, make decisions and come up with new ideas. It also encourages optimistic attitude and helps to build self-confidence.
    • Green is a restful color. It’s the color of nature, fertility, life and balance. It symbolizes self-respect and well-being. It’s a safe color. If you have trouble deciding which color to use, use green. It also means learning, harmony and growth. It helps to feel comfortable, relaxed and calm. Green, a symbol of nature and fertility, has been shown to increase reading speed and memory. Reading something written on green paper may improve your comprehension of it.
    • Blue is the color of the mind and essentially soothing; it affects us mentally, rather than the physical reaction we have to red. Strong blues will stimulate clear thought and lighter, soft blues will calm the mind and aid concentration. Consequently it is serene and mentally calming. Blue is the world’s favorite color. However, it can be perceived as cold, unemotional and unfriendly.
    • Purple, and indigo help to balanced the mind and transform obsessions and irrational fears. is connected to wisdom and royalty. It’s also an exotic color rarely found in nature. Things that are purple attract attention and even suggest authority. Violet often described as purple. It takes awareness to a higher level of thought, even into the realms of spiritual values. It is highly introvertive and encourages deep contemplation, or meditation. Excessive use of purple can bring about too much introspection and the wrong tone of it communicates something cheap and nasty, faster than any other color.
    • White brings peace and comfort, alleviates emotional shock and despair. In many cultures white represents openness and truth. White evokes purity and truthfulness.
    • Black is a color that is both comforting and protective. It is associated with silence, the infinite, mystery and the feminine life force. Black can prevent us from growing and changing. In some cultures black symbolizes death. Native American however thought that black was good because it was the color of soil and soil gives life. Black evokes seriousness, distinctiveness and boldness.
    • Gray is often associated with independence, self-reliance, self-control and self-criticism. It’s also gives the stamp of exclusivity. It’s the color “around which creative people are most creative.” Gray is a neutral color that can enhance and intensify any other color it surrounds. Gray can have a cooling effect when placed next to more vibrant colors.
    • Brown is the color of our Mother Earth. Brown is a color of the earth that gives you feelings of strength. Brown clothing or furniture may give you a feeling of being connected to nature.
