What do you want the new you to be like? Are you ready to create a happier, healthier, new you?
Change is easier said than done. Life balance and personal happiness do not necessarily depend on earning more money and being successful at work or in business. Other things can have a much bigger impact on our well-being.
There are a million of reasons and excuses to keep you from making a change this year that leads to find joy, love and the work that fulfills you. The fear of rejection, people telling you that it is impossible because it hasn’t been possible for them. Well.. nobody is jolly and elated all the time, but some individuals are definitely more fulfilled than others.
Remove your doubts by following this process:
Be positive. Negativity is like a trap that sucks us all in, wanting to make us feel low and bring everyone else down with us. Feed yourself positive information. You are the one who will ensure your brain has the information that it needs to make your life successful. Surround yourself with people who reflect the person you want to be. Choose friends who you are proud to know, people you admire, who love and respect you – people who make your day a little brighter simply by being in it.
Move. Feeling good about your body can go a long way in helping you be happy with who you are. Paying more attention to what you eat and what you do for exercise can dramatically change how you feel about your body, not to mention how it looks. Raise your activity level to pump up your energy. If you’re on the phone, stand up and pace. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, you’ll get the blood moving and you’ll feel better. Over time, it will get easier, and your shapely legs will thank you.
Eat right. Improving your diet can help your mind and body. Having a good balance between fruits and veggies, proteins, and carbs can help you feel healthier and more in tune with your body.
Choose to smile more often. A smile is a choice, not a miracle. Don’t wait for people to smile. A genuine smile makes you and everyone around you feel better. The simple act of smiling sends a message to your brain that you’re happy. And when you’re happy, your body pumps out all kinds of feel-good endorphins.
Be grateful. Never forget how lucky you are to be you. Start being honest with yourself and everyone else. Don’t cheat. Be faithful. Be kind. Do the right thing!
